Chaos abounds.

It happens to all of us. Not one moment goes by that we're not dealing with life's absurdities and messiness, or waiting for that next shoe to drop. Some of it is inevitable. Most of it is meaningless.

What started as a lyric about coming to terms with the loss of my father has taken a much wider scope in 2020.

Nearly 200,000 souls departed, millions sick all over the world, the rest of us living in constant fear from one another. These days I wake up with that same feeling I had that one morning in September all those years ago. It all just seems a bit too much. It's something that we're all dealing with, and that we all need to get through together.

This song - much like the album we'll be releasing - has always been about a choice: Are we going to succumb to all the meaningless chaos in our lives, or will we wake up every day ready to fight to keep the wolves at bay?
