Recorded with some of the world's best session musicians, Rival Waves' debut single "Amputee" is a song about the painful dissolution of any failed relationship. It's that point where one side is giving their all to try to make something work and is being met with a constant resentment and the destruction of what was. It's that inevitable feeling we've all had when we realize we're on the outside looking in - when we understand that we're out of the loop.
