"100M", from Rival Waves' forthcoming LP, A Meaningless Chaos, was recorded and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Chris "Frenchie" Smith at The Bubble in Austin, TX.

It's a drum & bass-led track about the human condition of grief and escaping one's surroundings to find one's true sense of self. The song was written by singer Joel De La Garza as a grief management exercise shortly after losing his father.

With only a drum loop and a bass line, he presented the demo to the band, who transformed it into one of the most uplifting, adventurous, and radio-ready tracks Rival Waves has ever created.

The song's release will be celebrated with a hometown release celebration on April 27, 2023. Dad would be proud.
